The 10 units touch on all strands of the History Curriculum in a pleasant and interesting manner. The stories of Fionn and the Giant, Hans Christian Andersen, The Children of Lir and Grainne Mhaol will all have the children on the edge of their seats with excitement. The unit on The Hearth will bring the past to life for the children and will make it easy for them to compare/contrast the past with the present.
This History Quest series complements the Science Quest series and the Geography Quest series to provide a comprehensive programme of S.E.S.E. activities for children.
The series meets the emerging needs of pupils and teachers, reflecting the aims and objectives of the revised curriculum. It is recognised that modern schools have access to a wide range of information sources, including the internet.
