Themen Deutsch is a new Leaving Certificate course series, designed with both students and teachers in mind. Books are divided into 20 units, which are based around themes on the Leaving Certificate syllabus. Each unit (Einheit) has the following Elements: Vocabulary relevant to the theme, followed by questions to be answered orally A picture-essay that requires both an oral and written response. Literary and factual texts. A letter in the Leaving Certificate format. 10 useful sentences based on the theme to be learned off by students Book 1 is aimed at Fifth Year and Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level Students.
